Services per staff

Skills, services, and pricing — per staff member.

Some stylists do color, others don't. Some charge premium, some don't. Beauta respects all of that — and only auto-assigns staff who can actually do the service.

    Each staff member has their own list of services. Auto-assignment only picks staff who can perform the booked service.

    Senior stylists can charge more than juniors. Set per-staff overrides on top of standard service pricing.

  • Per-staff duration

    Some staff take 45 min for a cut, others take 60. Set realistic durations so the calendar reflects reality.

  • Preferred-by-client routing

    Returning clients are auto-assigned to the staff they booked with last — keeping relationships intact.

Staff FAQs

  • Can each staff member have different hours and breaks?

    Yes. Every staff member has their own weekly schedule with custom hours per day, recurring breaks, and one-off blocks. The calendar respects all of it.

  • Can I block out specific dates like annual leave or training?

    Yes. Block out single days or date ranges per staff. Beauta won't accept bookings for those dates and shows the block clearly on the calendar.

  • How does pricing per staff work?

    Every service has a base price. You can override per staff — for example, a senior stylist's cut is $80 while a junior's is $50. The booking shows the right price based on who's assigned.

  • Can I restrict which services each staff can perform?

    Yes. Each staff member has their own service list. Auto-assignment only suggests staff who can actually do the service — but admins can still override.

  • Can staff manage their own schedules?

    Yes, with role-based access. Staff can view their schedule, request blocks, or update their own hours within limits you set.

  • What happens when a staff member is removed?

    Their future bookings need to be reassigned or cancelled. Beauta lists them so you can move clients quickly, and notifies affected clients automatically.
